About Men's Mental Health
Men’s Mental Health is a clinic where men can feel particularly at ease discussing their mental health concerns. There are life experiences which are unique to men and our providers specialize in helping men address these challenges. During a patient’s visit he can expect to discuss how treatment with medications and talk therapy can be helpful, but will also be encouraged to lift a few weights in our gym before or after his appointment. We do this to emphasize the importance of exercise for testosterone production, weight management and mental well-being. Daily nutritional decisions will also be discussed because we know how they affect a man’s mood, levels of stress and anxiety, in addition to having a direct relationship with many other chronic medical issues.
