Mercy High School, located between Boston and New York City in Middletown, Connecticut, provides a rigorous college preparatory academic program for young women in grades 9 through 12. Faculty and staff in this faith-based environment are committed to nurturing each individual student’s personal growth. Approximately 500 students attend Mercy and last year’s graduating seniors earned $8.2 million in scholarships. Starting in the fall of 2018, Mercy will offer the College Board AP Capstone Diploma Program which focuses on college-level independent research, collaborative teamwork and communication and writing skills. All students work with a School Counselor from the time they enter Mercy and are supported throughout the college application process. “Women of Mercy” are confident, competitive, committed and compassionate about their learning experience, whether it be in the classroom, on the playing field, in student government, performing on stage, or serving the community.
