I have worked as a professional photographer for over 15 years. I began my career as a portrait photographer in 1997, where I refined my style and lighting techniques in a commercial family-friendly studio. I quickly opened and grew my own business, Meredith Mashburn Photography. In addition to full-time work, my personal business focus now includes fashion, editorial, commercial, and lifestyle photography. While Arkansas is my home and well-loved backdrop for photos, I welcome every assignment with an opportunity to travel. I thrive in a collaborative setting and embrace the chance to work as part of a team. To my clients and potential employers, I bring a strong work ethic, agreeable collaboration with other team members, quick turnaround, in-depth research and outstanding quality. I have had the honor of working with amazing companies such as Angelcourt Jewelry, IO Metro, Mason’s and Acumen Brands. During the past two and a half years I had the pleasure of working at Acumen Brands, Inc. as the Senior Lifestyle Photographer. The company provided a perfect working environment for me to both refine my skills as a photographer and acquire the enterprise-level knowledge needed to deliver the quality and volume of work required by the largest online-only retailer targeting the Southern country lifestyle. The breadth and depth of skills I developed in this role makes me an excellent candidate for agencies, studios, and publications. In my business, there is nothing more important than meeting and exceeding the needs of my clients. From the roots of a design concept, to the culmination of a fully integrated photo campaign; my positive attitude and tenacious work ethic never waiver. As a creative, I approach challenges and problems as a critical component of my end design. I see these challenges as opportunities to better my artistic vision and fine tune my process.
