About Mereworth Wines

Mereworth Winery, housed in Brewer’s Hall Oast, is the place where we transform our grapes into quality English Sparkling Wine. Our vineyards, overlooking Wateringbury, are perfectly positioned on the Greensand Ridge. First planted in 2016, we grow Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes. Historically, these three are known as the principal grapes grown in Champagne; but they have proven a fabulous match for the climate and growing conditions here in Kent to make exceptional English Sparkling Wine. Our combined winery bar, café and shop gives you the unique opportunity to enjoy a wide range of drinks in the rooms in which we make them, with a view of our production area, tank rooms and cellar wine storage. We serve local guest ales and lagers on tap, cocktails, ciders and soft drinks. We also serve teas and coffees and our tasting room makes the perfect spot for an afternoon catch-up with friends, or a work meeting.
