About Meridian Kung Fu
Meridian Kung Fu is a full time, professional martial arts school based on Wing Chun tradition. Wing Chun Kung Fu is widely known for its practical, no-nonsence approach to combat. This simple, yet highly effective martial art, with roots leading back to the famous Shaolin Temple and its notorious female creator Ng Mui can be practised in a totally safe and friendly environment. Meridian Kung Fu offers the ultimate in training facilities with our prestigious full time martial arts school, innovative programmes and professional instructors. Classes run every day of the week with new recruits initially joining on a 4 week beginners course at a cost of £39.95 for adults or £24.99 for kids. During this time recruits learn basic blocks, strikes, form structure and start to build their Wing Chun foundations. On completion of the course the recruits are able to participate in regular weekly sessions available within the structured timetable. Each week the students learn new techniques and skills within their belt status, and once all the techniques within their belt status are taught and understood, the students are able to grade for the next belt within the system. First and foremost, martial arts offer exciting and dynamic training for the mind, body and spirit. Committing to a workout routine can be tough, particularly without a coach or trainer. Meridian Kung Fu offers our kids and adult students a dynamic step-by-step session coached by a professional instructor at every class they attend.
