About Mes Taip Nesitarėm / Not What We Agreed
// EN "Not What We Agreed" is a unique musical-social project that has no analogues in Lithuania, about two communities - deaf and hearing, who have their own languages (Lithuanian and Lithuanian sign language), rules of communication, but both face a common paradox - they don't communicate or, in other words, "listening" but not hearing. This idea will be presented by professional stage art creators and art lovers through their joint work. The project is based on the idea that people with hearing disabilities cannot hear music, but feel the vibration and rhythm, which allows them to enjoy, perform and even create musical performances. This is not common for hearing members of the public, so working together and creating a joint performance with professional stage artists we will include not only the creative side, but also the research and test side: how these sensory processes take place, how it is possible to work and create together - hearing and not hearing.
