About Messe Husum & Congress
Messe Husum & Congress GmbH & Co KG has gained worldwide fame in the renewable energy sector. For over 25 years it has organised the leading German wind energy trade fair, HUSUM Wind, which is also recognised internationally as the most important wind industry trade fair for Germany and German-speaking countries. In the centre of Schleswig-Holstein’s wind pioneer country visitors to the fair have the opportunity to visit nearby wind farms, turbine manufacturers and associated businesses, experiencing innovation and technology up close. For over 600 exhibitors and c. 20,000 visitors, HUSUM Wind will once again be the meeting place for the industry’s main players and policymakers. The HUSUM Wind Congress running parallel to the fair is a forum for presenting important onshore and offshore innovations and developments, and is an important source of information for everyone dealing with the challenges facing the wind power industry. Starting in 2015, HUSUM Wind will be held every two years, alternating with WindEnergyHamburg. In 2010 Messe Husum was enhanced by the construction of the CongressCentre. The event location features modern and flexible design, innovative technology and first class catering. It provides the optimum setting for events for 10 to 1,500 persons, and thanks to its barrier-free design and its tactile, inductive guidance system, it has proven to be an ideal venue for congresses and cultural events.
