About MET Mentoring (Powered by MET Marketing)

MET Mentoring is a voluntary mentoring programme supporting the progression of the Marketing community in the North of England. Mentoring is the provision of 1-2-1 support, encouragement, guidance, inspiration and experience enabling personal and professional progression over a period of time. The idea to start MET Mentoring was born in lockdown as MET Marketing (Marketing, Digital & Creative Recruiters in the North) wanted to do something positive to support the Marketing community. Core to the MET Marketing business is progression; Progressing people, Progressing business! With access to a large network of brilliant marketers we thought there’s no better way to help with progression than to start a mentoring programme to allow the sharing of knowledge and experience. We rely on the support of volunteers who kindly give up their time to help shape the future careers of other marketers. The programme launched in October 2020. The process to becoming either a mentor or mentee on the programme is simple.
