About Metal Militia Manufacturing

Welcome to the Metal Militia Manufacturing LinkedIn page! Metal Militia was founded in 2024 by James Urquhart and Ian MacGregor to create a slick and efficient CNC manufacturing solution for companies large and small across the UK. In June 2024, we decided to put everything on the line and take the scary plunge into manufacturing. We committed to a state of the art facility, filled it with the best of equipment and software then took delivery of 2 brand new DMG MORI CLX450 TC machines that arrived in November and commissioned on the 23rd of December. Since June, we have secured various customers in the Oil and Gas sector and the Renewables sector that keeps our current machines busy. Our first member of staff started in March 2025, and with more positions opening over the next few months, we are striving towards growth and optimised 24 hours machining. Metal Militia have now ordered another 2 identical DMG MORI CLX450TC machines that will arrive in July. We are small but fiercely driven with a goal to thrive towards uninterrupted automation, traceability and quality control.
