MetamorphosisTLC was founded by Lucy West; co-author of Content-Focused Coaching. Lucy was formerly the Deputy Superintendent of nearly 200 schools in NYC's Region 9 after serving as Director of Mathematics in NYC's Community School District 2. As part of this work, Lucy developed content coaching; a research-based process for transforming schools into high performing multi-generational learning organizations. The company has grown into a team of master coaches who skillfully employ content coaching in the service of improving instruction to improve student learning. The MetamorphosisTLC systems approach to focusing on the instructional core inspires and equips educators at all levels to optimize performance throughout entire school communities. Our work has transformed the mindset and practice of both teachers and administrators, and affirmed them as professionals who can uplift entire school cultures. Our collaborative hands-on approach gives educators the skill and confidence to make lasting improvements in the lives of their students. We offer professional Coaching services that resolve teachers' and supervisors' most pressing concerns. We know how to breakthrough the implementation barrier and translate professional development experiences into effective classroom practice.
