Founded on principles of community-led development, we drive projects from behind so that community organisations can bring the buildings they need to life. Our hhilosophy We believe that quality infrastructure can provide the foundation for a thriving community. Too often, communities lack necessary facilities, and existing infrastructure is in poor condition. The complexity and cost of construction often leave these needs unmet. METIO collaborates closely with community organisations to deliver culturally appropriate and environmentally sustainable buildings and facilities that generate lasting social and economic benefits. By placing communities at the heart of our work, we ensure community initiative and insight forms the foundation of each project. Our role METIO provides a one stop shop. We guide clients through every step of a project’s process. We leverage our network of partners to offer comprehensive project services from beginning to end of a project life-cycle, working with communities through needs assessment, design coordination, planning, grant writing, tendering, and project management. We are experienced in delivering projects in remote and challenging locations, and ensure that our projects are appropriate to place and culture.
