Metro Market is a pioneer in urban shopping for Milwaukee’s downtown residents. Roundy’s opened its first Metro Market store in 2004 primarily to serve downtown Milwaukee apartment and condominium residents. A second Metro Market was opened in 2010 in Brookfield, followed by a store in Mequon in 2011. The Madison store will be the company’s fourth Metro Market scheduled to open June 2014 while a fifth is scheduled to open in the Milwaukee suburb of Shorewood in 2015.
