About Metropolitan Mediation Services
Metropolitan Mediation Services (MMS)is a community mediation program which has served Greater Boston communities since 1986. MMS seeks to reduce the pain, stress, damage, and expense of conflict by providing services of mediators to help those in conflict to have positive and productive conversations. We serve youth, elders, families, neighbors, public and private organizations, schools, and courts, among many others. MMS Mediation services are low cost and the great majority are free. We conduct mediations at times and locations conveniently accessible to our clients. MMS also offers mediator trainings - building and developing conflict resolution skills. These skills are personally fulfilling; strengthen communities and organizations; and, for those who choose it, open a pathway for extremely rewarding community service as a member of MMS' volunteer mediator panel.
