The Robert B. and Helen S. Meyner Center for the Study of State and Local Government educates students about the importance of state and local governments and encourages them to participate in state and local affairs as volunteers, interns, and future leaders. It engages in local, regional, national, and international public service, training, and outreach to state and local governments and civic organizations. It also promotes scholarly and applied research. The Center is directed by Prof. John Kincaid.
