MG2 was founded in 1966, when the first continuous-motion capsule filler (Mod. G36) was introduced on the market. Since then MG2 has supplied thousands of machines not only to small and medium size companies, but also to multinational Companies all over the world. Led by Saverio and Manuela Gamberini, sons of Mr. Ernesto Gamberini, one of the founding shareholders of the company in 1966, today MG2 Group is a market leader in the capsule fillers production. The MG2 group employs approximately more than 200 people working in a production facility covering 15,000 sq. mt. Thanks to both its international branch in the USA - MG America, Inc. - and an extensive network of agents, MG2 also occupies a prominent position on the international market. All MG2 products show high technological level, quality and reliability which all result from a high-end integrated manufacturing system, being itself the achievement of an ongoing process of improvement and development. Beside capsule filling machines, MG2 Processing Division also manufactures complementary quality control machines, weight control systems and weighing/sorting machines for tablets. The Packaging Division offers a reliable range of automatic packaging machines for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and foodstuffs, such as: blister machines, cartoners, top-loading and side-loading case packers, forming and filling machines for boxes and trays, palletizers, Track&Trace systems for cartons, bottles and bundled products.
