About MGO Paraguay

An organization devoted to creating Cultural and Commercial activities between Paraguay and Denmark. We have researched what the two countries could offer each other and where we could service these needs. Here are some achievements and on-going projects: 2013: Consulting entrepreneurs on how to start-up their businesses. In the hope that these businesses would create more employment and in turn bring more people out of poverty. 2012: Worked on the foundation of an Incubator in Asunción, Paraguay. A year long project which involved building bridges between several local institution necessary to start up a business incubator. 2011: Working on getting exchange programs between Danish and Paraguayan universities implemented. Helping AIESEC start up in Paraguay. Providing emergency assistance to Paraguayans in Northern Europe. Detecting high impact development and business projects in order to promote international visibility and foreign investments in Paraguay. Then create awareness about market opportunities and attract investors. Promote cultural exchanges between the two countries through exchanges. Contacted public officials in Europe and Paraguay to initiate the creation of a Honorary Consulate of Paraguay in Denmark. Exchanging Human Resources of higher education between DK and PY. Offered to work as a liaison between both countries for official visits, emergency situations, networking opportunities or tourism. Sort of an ‘Attaché de L’ambassade of Berlin’ you could call it. Roskilde Festival is our self-generating revenue source and they have financed the organization to sustain. We contracted over 400 persons since 2009 to work during the festival as fire security volunteers.
