University College of Commerce & Business Management has been imparting qualitative business knowledge to adept the Commerce, Management and Tourism & Travel Management aspirants as effective managers, researchers, teachers and entrepreneurs. The Department of Commerce & Business Management rechristened as University College of Commerce & Business Management in the year 2010 to recognize its maturity as comprehensive hub for business education. The motto behind the institute is to imbibe human values among young managers with a view to produce effective managers, researchers, teachers and entrepreneurs. The faculty comprises of intellectually stimulating academicians having a vast experience in various fields that enables them to impart practical knowledge to the student community. The faculties are in touch with practicalities and intricacies of business and are constantly striving to transform the students into successful and progressive leaders of the future. With the objective of catering to the increasing demand of Managerial and Entrepreneurial Excellence, the institute offers a number of courses molding the students for the challenges of tomorrow. The courses that are being offered are: M.Com (Two Year Course), M.B.A (Two Year Course), M.B.A (Tourism & Travel Management - Two Year Course) and M.B.A (Integrated - Five Year Course). Practical experience in the actual work environment of the industry is the necessary component of the full time management programs. It is compulsory for every student to go for a Research Project of four-week duration so that students can relate their class-room learning with the reality of business and thus meaningful. The Institute is well equipped with the modern methods of teaching and teaching aids. The course work is demanding. The performance of the student is continuously evaluated through class participation, written assignments, class tests in addition to mid-semester and end-semester examinations.
