About MHRM IIT Kharagpur
IIT Kharagpur has long been a center of excellence for engineering studies. With the introduction of an M.Tech program in Human Resource Development & Management (HRD & M) in 1982 at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Institute further opened its doors to prospective managers who are now at the helm of various leading companies across the globe. IIT Kharagpur is today one of the few reputed institutes in India offering a specialized course in Human Resource Management and the only IIT to do so. Since 2010, the course has been restructured to Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM) and encompasses a diversified industry-oriented curriculum delivered by highly qualified faculty with prior experiences in various IITs, IIMs and top Central Universities in India and abroad, enabling industrial exposure through challenging internships in both the Public and Private sectors and stimulating Live Projects complemented by massive Alumni support.
