Miami Container Repair Company (MCR) is South Florida’s largest, unionized, full service supplier to the intermodal industry, providing depot and CY services, equipment sales, rentals and transportation services within the state of Florida. We provide these services for most major Global Ocean Carriers and Equipment Leasing Companies. Our long-standing reputation within the maritime industry began in 1979 as we launched the opening of MCR as a repair and maintenance company operating within Port Miami and incorporated under the State of Florida. We are proud to say that 40 years later through our affiliated company South Florida Container Repair (SFCR), we continue our presence at the Port Miami (POMTOC) and Port Everglades (PET) and continue to maintain our status as the primary repair / maintenance company at both waterborne ports. In 1996 we acquired our current facility, a 32-Acre Depot located in Medley, Florida. With a TEU capacity of 20,000 and 350+ Acres of possible adjacent expansion, there are no limitations to our growth potential. Our Depot/CY Yard offers 24 Hr Security. It is fully equipped and capable of any type of structural and mechanical repairs and maintenance services. We have 60+ Reefer Plugs on premises for refrigerated containers, and we provide refrigerated container monitoring, unit downloads as well as Inbound and Outbound Refrigerated container transportation.
