Michael Barclay Partnership was established in 1974 & converted in 2007 to an LLP. The practice has since converted to a Private Ltd, and operates under MBP Ltd Since its inception the practice has undertaken over 4000 commissions of great diversity for private and public sector clients, ranging from major new public buildings, mixed use urban developments to the adaptation of buildings of great historic importance. This experience and skill range contributes to a challenging and dynamic culture within the practice and fosters our belief that the knowledge and experience gained of different technologies and working practices across sectors is of value to all our clients. At the heart of the firm’s culture is a strong commitment to the built environment and a belief engineers can make a positive contribution to creating and shaping it. Our aim is to produce elegant, economic and sustainable engineering solutions to meet the needs of our clients. Clear priorities and objectives are crucial to developing the best designs who we focus and draw on our clients' ambitions and aspirations for their project right from the outset,. From there, from then we aim to anticipate rather than react to events. It is our belief that the best results are achieved by close collaboration with the client, the design team and the contractor and we place a great emphasis on teamwork.
