Michael J Kolesar, Designer, Artist, Athlete. Michael, the Artist, is a skilled craftsman who has completed many commissioned portraits and artworks for patrons in Canada and abroad. Painting full time, since his retirement from the design world, Michael concentrates on portrait and figurative art, acrylic painting, and objet d'art. Michael, the Athlete, is a masters track cyclist, who, up until 2019, held the Canadian Masters Hour Record in his age category. Michael is also the CEO of the The Hour Team, a track cycling events organization. The Hour Team currently manages an annual track event known as the DayoftheHour, the only event of its kind, and specifically dedicated to setting the 'Hour Record', the most prestigious record in cycling.
