michelangelo acciaro I architetti create architecture and art, working on new technologies, culture and urban strategies with focus on concept development, planning and research. Our office is an independent and flexible platform, specialized in building design, urban planning, temporary installations, interior-, furniture- and exhibition design. We generate new ideas for every single project, integrating highly skilled freelances from different cultural backgrounds. Avoiding any kind of repetitive schematism, we don’t restrict ourselves to resolve only the technological and functional aspects of every project, but try to interweave new forms and multilayer urban contexts, searching for possibilities of confrontation within the current evolution in architecture and our European tradition. Our main challenge is to tie together professional completeness, complex planning programs in manifold scales and an experimental dimension devoted to research that aims to benefit our clients directly without additional costs. The participation in a large number of international competitions with encouraging results in different cultural areas and a conscientious self-analysis are our strategy to continuously enhance our knowledge base, refine our capacities, increase our strengths and to grow. Over the years, public, residential and commercial buildings, public spaces and temporary installations have been realized, availing ourselves of a stable network of specialist consultancies.
