About Michelle Made This

Michellemadethis is a cottage industry run by Michelle Fallon. As the name suggests Michelle designs and makes her own range of cottage style home and fashion accessories. After living and working as an IT Trainer in London & New York for over 16 years Michelle decided to return to Ireland and follow her dreams. On the commutes to work, whilst everyone was listening to music or digesting the daily papers, Michelle was dreaming of getting away from it all, living in her Grandmother's cottage, growing vegetables and spending her days crafting. Thankfully dreams do come true. Michelle now lives in that very cottage, lovingly renovated with the help of her Mum and Dad. Like many dreams the reality isn't so rosy and the vegetable patch has proved to be a work in progress. However the crafty side of things has blossomed. Michelle also runs various workshops in card making, sewing and knitting. Michelle has become the regular "craft expert" on the Irish magazine show, Four Live on RTE1 and has featured in the Irish Interiors magazine House & Home and Fashion magazine Prudence. Her knitting group and her lovely cottage were also featured on Nationwide in May 2010 and Dirty Old Towns in May 2011.
