About Michigan Center for Truck Safety
The MCTS offers professional development training courses for CMV drivers and a plethora of seminar programs for the CMV industry as well as the general motoring public across Michigan, including the Upper Peninsula. All training and seminars are conducted by skilled safety specialists that have a combined 160 years of experience and knowledge in the CMV industry dealing with the federal and state regulations. The MCTS participates in community outreach events such as county fairs, touch-a-truck events, truck shows, teen driving events, truck driver appreciation week, etc., to provide information to CMV drivers, young drivers, and the general motoring public on how to share the road safely. The MCTS also has available a hotline for the trucking industry to call for regulation questions, schedule training and/or outreach or to order resources materials such as the Truck Drivers Guidebook.
