About Michigan Climate Investment Hub
The Michigan Climate Investment Hub is working to attract more climate-focused capital into Michigan, and facilitate access to the technical and financial resources required to develop and deploy projects across Michigan in support of the MI Healthy Climate Plan. The Hub will work with stakeholders involved in all aspects of project development including project sponsors/developers, local governments, technical assistance providers, contractors and industry, lenders and capital providers, clean energy finance experts, etc. Through this collaboration the Hub will play a coordinating role, aiming to clarify the pathway from project ideation to construction - ideally lowering barriers to entry and facilitating access to resources at any point along the way. Located in the Newlab building on the Michigan Central campus in Detroit, the Hub was created through philanthropic support from the Kresge Foundation and in partnership with EGLE’s Office of Climate and Energy.
