About Michigan FCCLA
We are the Michigan association of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. FCCLA is a Career Technical Student Organization (CTSO) that promotes personal growth, leadership development and career readiness through Family and Consumer Sciences Education. We focus on the multiple roles of family member, wage earner and community leader that members may encounter in their adult lives. Students have the opportunity to develop skills they learn in their FCS classrooms through Leadership Conferences and competitive event competitions with opportunities for recognition. FCCLA currently has over 220,000 members nationwide across nearly 5,000 schools. FCCLA is integrated through curriculums through four major Family and Consumer Science pathways: Education and Training, Hospitality and Tourism, Human Services, and Visual Arts and Design.
