MTC also distributes many other components, peripherals, white-box barebones, and security and surveillance solutions. With our background and connections in the industry, MTC is in a unique position to help partners and customers leverage new trends in AI to gain a competitive edge. After AMD launched the Opteron Server Platform in 2003, MTC identified cooling as a key success factor. We designed a high-efficiency cooling system to enable optimal airflow and cooling for high-density rackmount Opteron servers. As a result, MTC was the go-to partner for a global roadshow to introduce the Opteron Server Platform. MTC had 80% of the AMD-validated thermal rackmount solutions showcased on the official AMD Opteron website. This was a key catalyst in the adoption of AMD Opteron in major HPC markets. MTC entered the IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) industry in 2006. That year, we became the exclusive Best Buy partner for hard drive sanitization, repair, and recovery. We also successfully invented a fully automated, high-density rackmount infrastructure capable of simultaneously wiping hundreds of hard drives in compliance with US DoD data erasure standards. As a Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher (MAR), we refurbished and revived hundreds of thousands of off-lease commercial-grade computer equipment, including desktops, laptops, and servers, to help reduce e-waste and protect the enviroment.
