Mid-Atlantic Manual Therapy Consultants is a Physical Therapy Continuing Education provider that was created by clinicians for therapists. We are a privately owned, 2 person partnership, by two practicing Physical Therapists. With over 2/3 of course time dedicated to intensive lab instruction, no more than a 10 to 1 student to instructor ratio, and all instructors being FAAOMPT’s, participants will leave our courses as more effective and confident clinicians. Our 1.5 day courses include a wide array of Manual Therapy topics, as listed below: -HVLA Mobilization of the Lumbar Spine and Pelvis -HVLA Mobilization of the Cervical and Thoracic Spine & Ribs -HVLA Mobilization of the Extremities -Lumbo-Pelvic Stabilization: an Impairment Based Approach -Neurodynamics: Examination & Mobilization Techniques -Comprehensive Treatment of the Ribcage & Thoracic Outlet Syndrome These seminars are designed to be lab intensive, with special attention paid to ensure that each participant demonstrates safe and effective handling skills. By the end of the course, each participant should be able to know when, where, how, and with whom to apply these techniques.
