About Mid Fairfield Community Care Center

Our mission is to ensure equitable access to mental health and community support services that improve the health, resiliency, and quality of life of all individuals. We are a nonprofit, community resource and serve as the safety net for families in the greater Norwalk area who cannot afford or access private mental and behavioral health services for their children and other family members. We provide trauma-informed, individualized, evidence-based interventions and support services within a continuum of care to children, adolescents, young adults, and families. As one of the only mental health providers in Fairfield County that accepts Medicaid and other forms of insurance, Mid Fairfield is often the only option available for children and families. We even accept a growing number of uninsured children because we never turn away a child in need - regardless of their family's ability to pay. Simply put, for thousands of children, we are their safety net. Without Mid Fairfield most of the children and families we help would have nowhere else to go. Our mental health and wellness services are offered in our outpatient clinic, on an in-home bases, and in school- and community-based settings.
