Established since 1979, Mid-Optic Limited are now one of the UK’s largest optical wholesalers, supplying optical groups, independent opticians, leading eye hospitals, teaching universities, laser clinics and ophthalmologists. In addition, we now supply a range of eye drops for the veterinary profession, including POM-V products and human eye drops under the Cascade system. Mid-Optic hold MHRA Wholesale Dealers Licenses for both human and veterinary medicines - WDA(H) 4457 and WDA(V) 4457. We stock all leading brands of contact lenses, contact lens solutions, comfort drops, Minims™, dietary supplements, magnifiers & low vision aids, practice tools, spectacle cases and spectacle cleaning products. These include products from Avizor, Bausch & Lomb, Alcon, Johnson & Johnson, Coopervision & Optoplast to name but a few. Holding stock of specialised products for the treatment of Dry Eye Disease, which consists of dry eye drops from Thea Pharmaceuticals, Altacor, VisuFarma, Medicom, Scope and more. We also stock a range of warm eye compresses for treating MGD (Meibomian Gland Dysfunction) from The EyeBag Co, The Body Doctor and other leading manufacturers. A more specialist range of ophthalmic products is available for ‘additional supply’ optometrists and ophthalmologists, for the treatment and clinical management of certain eye conditions. We are pleased to announce that Mid-Optic now has a sister company in the long-established company, Altomed Limited. As a leading supplier of specialist instruments and consumables for ophthalmic surgery since 1976, Altomed also distributes products from a range of leading global brands.
