We offer fly fishing trips and instruction on several private, stocked streams near Staunton, Virginia. Nestled between the Allegheny and Blue Ridge Mountains, the meandering streams of the valley offer anglers an idyllic fishing destination. With over 20 years of experience fishing along streams and brooks off the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers, Justin exudes a passion for educating both novice hobbyists and serious anglers. He spends his free time volunteering for a variety of local conservation non-profits and organizes a weekend clinic to introduce young would-be fly fishermen (and women) to his sport. From mountain to meadow, Shenandoah Valley offers endless opportunities to target a variety of species including smallmouth bass, musky, rainbow trout, brook trout and brown trout. Join us for a day out on the water wading or floating. In addition to day trips, we also offer weekend getaway vacation packages. All of our packages offer private water fishing within the Shenandoah Valley and surrounding forests. A plethora of small streams drain into the 56 mile long Shenandoah River. These rivers tumble down from the mountains through rhododendron and hardwood forests and ancient slabs of limestone. Sunlight dapples water through heavy canopies and birds and the sounds of the forest abound. Fishing these tiny streams lets you experience every pool, waterfall, and rise as you climb over ferns and mossy rocks. All packaged trips include accommodations with modern amenities (unless camping), transportation, meals & snacks, drinks, and all gear necessary. Concierge and customized trips available.
