About Middle Tennessee Transgender Alliance

Formerly known as Tvals or The Tennessee Vals, Middle Tennessee Transgender Alliance (MTTA) is a non-political, educational, social, and support organization founded and designed to educate and support persons regarding transgender issues, without prejudice, regarding sexual orientation, sexual identity, or gender identity. MTTA helps educate and support those dealing with personal issues and concerns related to sexual identity and/or gender identity, both by those defined as transgender and those in relationships with transgender persons. MTTA also serves the interests of the transgender community in Middle Tennessee from the Kentucky to Alabama border. We also serve to educate the public and promoting a positive public image about transgender persons. All on the transgender spectrum are welcome from full time or “when you can” transgender women and men to gender fluid, non-binary and gender questioning.
