MID Design and manufacture a range of bulk material handling valves including rotary valves, slide valves, gravity & pneumatic diverters, butterfly valves and others. All MID rotary valves include mechanical shaft seals, fitted to our valves for over 30 years. They're guaranteed not to leak any product from the shaft seal and guaranteed not to need any routine, repetitive maintenance - unlike gland packing. Our rotary valves range from, from cast iron versions to 400 wear plate to ceramic tiled versions - the ultimate in low cost, economical ownership. Replacing your old rotary valves with an MID version couldn't be simpler. We'll measure your existing valve and then fabricate a brand new version with an identical 'footprint'. You can swap them over as if replacing like for like but with added wear resistance and a mechanical shaft seal that's guaranteed not to leak. From 150 mm inlets up to valves weighing 3 tonnes. We've also packaged our mechanical seals into a cartridge that can be fitted to other manufacturers screw conveyors, mixers and blenders. No leaks and no maintenance. We have standard ranges across all of our different types of valves, but many of them can be 'engineered' to improve wear resistance, reduce maintenance and to match the dimensions of the unit it replaces, allowing it to slot in where the other valve used to be.
