About Midlands Gaming Coalition

Since 2019, the Midlands Gaming Coalition has been helping our communities stay connected through gaming. We seek to promote responsible gaming habits throughout the community we serve as well as teaching the core principles learned in traditional sports, i.e. leadership, teamwork, critical thinking, and how to win and lose with grace, through E-Sports. We are currently in the development phase of creating programs with community partners and select school districts to bring E-Sports to a scholastic setting. This program will feature 4 core curriculum areas as well as implementing a competitive aspect that will feature games on a rotating schedule. Outside of these programs, Midlands Gaming is working to develop a community of gamers that are seeking a place to feel comfortable being themselves. We cultivate a safe space for everyone to feel welcome as Gaming is the most inclusive hobby there is. We want to share that with anyone and everyone that is interested.
