About Midlands Rural Housing
We are a specialist housing provider, renowned for developing and managing affordable homes, for local people, where they’re most needed in rural communities. We work in partnership with local authorities, parish councils, landowners, community land trusts, developers and contractors, to build safe, high-quality and affordable homes in rural communities. We cover the entire process from identifying the need, site finding and consulting with the community to gaining planning permission, securing funding and site purchase, to building the scheme to managing the homes once customers move in. We deliver services for four rural housing associations, with a total of almost 2000 homes: Leicestershire Rural Housing Association, Northamptonshire Rural Housing Association, Peak District Rural Housing Association and Warwickshire Rural Housing Association. Our rural housing expertise is also available to other organisations who would like support with Housing Needs Surveys, community consultation, housing management, site finding and planning applications. We work with housing associations, land owners and agents, parish councils, developers and local authorities to help identify local housing needs and look at solutions for delivering them.
