You will be part of a cohort of other licensed medical and mental health professionals as you move through the Midwest Psychedelic curriculum. Group discussions will be informed by each trainees existing education and experience. This is an intensive training that builds on each participants existing credentials in mental health. For that reason, the Midwest Psychedelic program is shorter than other psychedelic training programs that are open to individuals without full clinical licensure. In this setting, you will be known to your instructors, and they will be known to you. After completing the program, you will become part of a reginal network of practitioners in the field of psychedelic assisted therapy. You will enter the field of psychedelic assisted therapy with supportive colleagues to collaborate and consult with. When you are the room with a client or patient that came to you seeking your expertise, you can confidently and competently hold them in their therapeutic psychedelic experience. Midwest Psychedelic Training has been approved to offer 30 American Psychological Association CEs upon successful completion of the training. CE credits for psychologists are provided by the Spiritual Competency Academy (SCA) which is sponsoring this program. The Spiritual Competency Academy is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Spiritual Competency Academy maintains responsibility for this program and its content. LCSW, LPCC, LEP, and LMFTs, and other mental health professionals from states other than California need to check with their state licensing boards as to whether or not they accept programs offered by approved sponsors of CE by the American Psychological Association.
