About Midwest Rehab
Midwest Rehab is a division of Family Home Medical Equipment. We are staffed with experts that will help patients and caregivers through the entire process of obtaining mobility equipment that most appropriately meet their needs. We do home assessments for each and every patient to assure all areas of need are consulted on. Each patient and their care givers needs are carefully reviewed by the caring expert staff. Caring and friendly in take coordinators will help patients, referral sources, and caregivers through the entire process, keeping everyone informed on the progress of obtaining the equipment. All billing questions can be discussed directly with the Director of Operations for the most accurate up to date coverage information. The seating specialists will pay attention to every detail, including accurate patient measurements, to assure that the patients needs, as well as the caregivers needs are addressed in the equipment that is issued to them. A seating specialist has the responsibility of protecting the patients posture, assure their skin does not develop pressure or friction wounds, assist them in remaining functionally independent and comfortable. Our Assistive Technology Professional will assure those responsibilities are met and exceeded. Expert technical support on all equipment obtained by Midwest Rehab is provided throughout the life of the equipment and the seating specialists are available for consultation in the event of patient changes.
