About Mierbeth-Herzog

Elias’ and Michael are born and raised in Bavaria, Germany. With a friendship of more than15 years and their passion for all kinds of media work, they decided to put all their student money together, buying GoPro cameras, a drone and a one way ticket to Spain. “One way ticket and two cameras” was born. After several successful smaller video productions they found themselves shooting a full feature documentary in Ghana. Without much experience in filming on a cinematic level nor travelling West Africa. In retrospect, the journey of the movie was exceptional but the concept remained the same: a “one way ticket and two cameras”, two month time and everything DIY; the editing, scoring, coloring, pictures and funding. Achieving authenticity was the main objective. Today the production company Mierbeth-Herzog is an independent media house with a variety of projects in arts and business.
