MiKro-Z was established in the UK in 2021 to explore the use of telematics and 3D geospatial data to enable haulage companies to collaborate to optimise efficiency in the road supply chain: and benefit their organizations by doing so. MiKro-Z are developing 3D geospatial data visualisation tools to enable logistics planning teams in haulage fleet companies to take advantage of telematics to more closely monitor the operational activity and efficiency of the distribution centres where their trucks are collecting or delivering goods [incl;'Waiting, Loading and Unloading, Dwell and Detention durational timings], and be able to use this information to make more informed enterprise decisions - in conjunction with their existing transport management systems (TMSs). MiKro-Z aim to make available a beta version of our haulage company collaboration platform in the UK and Europe in mid-2024.
