Microfinance Norway (NCN) is an organization that offers microfinance loans for self-employed and also work to improve conditions for self-employed in Norway. We assist people through networking groups, courses and individual advice and assistance if needed. The groups are formed by 4-7 people who want to share experiences. Group members are often people who are in the process of establishing their own businesses - people who wants and have advice and tips for the other members. Every month, there will be a meeting - called “Etablerer forum” - for people who are interested and all team members in MFN. “Etablerer forum” is open to all, and we'd love to have a diversity of people at the meetings, both people who are new in the country and those who have lived in Norway their entire life. In “Etablererforum” we can share experiences and provides courses in various business related topics. Services: Loans: Groups of 4-7 members get access to loans through our partnership with Cultura Guarantee Fund and Cultura Bank. Maximum for the first loan is usually 25,000 NOK with a repayment of 18 months. Other loans are level based and can be from 25.000 to 200,000 NOK with 5 years repayment time. The interest rate is 6% and is given in cooperation with Culture Bank and security is provided by Cultura Guarantee Fund and the EIF, the European investment fund. The members can lend several times, as repayment makes it possible.
