About Milieu Consulting

We are a dynamic and multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Brussels, specialising in providing high quality legal and policy services for our primarily public sector clients. We work closely with many of the EU institutions and other international organisations, as well as national authorities, to support the development of more effective regulatory policies and governance structures. Although our core competence originated in the area of environmental protection, over the last two decades we have grown and expanded our competences and skills to cover a range of other policy areas, including public health, worker health and safety, labour relations, fundamental rights, cohesion policy, and consumer protection. We believe our principal strength is our in-house team of highly motivated and experienced lawyers, policy analysts and economists, together with the senior Milieu associates who provide specialist scientific, technical and legal support as required. Thanks to our extensive network of consultants throughout Europe and the rest of the world, we are able to cover all 27 EU Member States, as well as the countries of South Eastern Europe, Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia, Southeast Asia and the Mediterranean.
