Jill Humphries fast became one of the busiest full time milliners in Australia. She maintains an international client base that keeps her busy year round thanks to the racing events around Australia, UK (Royal Ascot), Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, America and New Zealand. Jill also judges racing fashion around Australia and New Zealand and teaches workshops from Melbourne to New York. With an eye for current trends and fashion, and as a millinery trend establisher, she is often requested up to six months out from events so clients can have a bespoke piece. Her design style is sleek and unfussy with a clean line and is mostly known in the millinery world for her floral leather work, featherwork and vintage inspired pieces. With a high social media presence, Jill has established a leading edge that has seen hats sell online in less than a minute of the image being shared with her followers. Jill has worked with some of Australia’s top stylists and has created pieces for Delta Goodrem, Nadia Fairfax, Melissa George, Ash Hart, Danni Minogue, Natalie Imbruglia, Francesca Culmani and many Australian TV and racing personalities. Jill’s work has also been featured on many street style pages for Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Marie Claire and Elle.
