About Mima Design

Mima Design is a retail and hospitality design consultancy based in Sydney. We are award winning creatives at heart, and enjoy interpreting a clients brief, solving complex problems and injecting a new set of ideas, to develop unique customer experiences for emerging and successful brands. Our experience and knowledge includes food, fashion, technology, beauty, specialty, franchise, convenience and hospitality environments. In an increasingly on-line world, physical stores and restaurants must work hard to cut through and engage with their customers. Retailers and restaurateurs who wish to remain relevant have to search and explore unique ideas pertinent to their brand, develop experiences that entertain, all whilst ensuring convenient and seamless interaction along the journey. We help our clients navigate this journey, providing direction, insight and strategy, illuminating and visualising complex propositions, turning what our clients struggle to imagine into reality. Our recent work has included a supermarket concept for Woolworths that was instrumental in turning it's fortunes around in recent years, a convenience store concept 'The Foodary' for Caltex Australia, the World's first retail store for Camelbak water bottles, and a drive-thru restaurant format development for Guzman y Gomez. We work with some of Australia's largest retailers and their consultants to bring transformational business concepts to life.
