We’re here to transform our culture’s understanding of mental health by deliberately altering the language we use to discuss it. We believe that by changing the words we use from ‘Mental Health’ to ‘Mind Matters’ we can help dissolve mental health stigma. Let’s Change Our Words and Change Our World To shake off the stigma surrounding mental health, we believe in turning awareness into tangible action by reshaping our language. Through our ambitious campaign, ongoing research, and educational offerings we support families, schools, companies, and organisations to look after matters of the mind. We aim to prevent as many individuals as possible from reaching crisis point. How We Create Change Our Campaign: The UK is experiencing a mental health crisis, with millions encountering obstacles in accessing vital support. One of those obstacles is the stigma associated with the term ‘Mental Health.’ Our campaign is to change our words and embrace ‘Mind Matters’ as a replacement term for ‘Mental Health.’ Mind Matters Schools: Mind Matters Schools are showing how education can embrace this change in language to nurture resilient minds and foster supportive school environments where connection can thrive. Mind Matters Companies: We believe in bettering workplace dynamics by facilitating improved communication and connection among team members. Our company workshops empower organisations to centre the well-being of the whole team. Ongoing Research: We’re currently conducting research to provide valuable insights and evidence that will inform and support our work. We strive to ensure our work is rooted in evidence.
