About MindBrain Institute of Atlanta
MindBrain Institute of Atlanta provides mental health care that educates and informs about the relationship between brain and nervous system care, mental health, and stress resilience. We apply over 15 years of knowledge and experience related to neuroplasticity, learning and healing to a range of physical and mental health conditions for improved outcomes. We are committed to helping people be informed, active participants in their own healing. Usually people find us when going through a stressful transition. This can include loss, work changes such as mergers, acquisition, or selling of a firm they created. Others reach out for help with significant health events and medical issues that are particularly sensitive to the impact of stress on healing and on the immune system. Others find us when their families and loved ones are experiencing turmoil and pain and they want more health and harmony in their home. We help you identify where and how to apply your efforts so that your time and energy will achieve effective and long lasting change. When it feels like things are falling apart, or alternatively, that they will fall apart if this particular situation isn’t navigated well we are here to help. This is where the road gets familiar for us. Dr. Gordick has extensive experience delivering therapeutic services, educating and training therapists, and creating resources. In addition to providing individual and family therapy in my office, I have worked in residential treatment centers, group homes, and college counseling centers for over 20 years. I have managed and directed in an intensive therapeutic program for almost nine years. I have done mental health work, taken classes, and/or taught at Emory, Georgia Tech, University of South Florida, and Georgia State University. A unique part of my approach is I continually learn about neuroplasticity, hormones, health and healing. Partnering this kno
