Hello world! I am Cara, and welcome to Mindful Empowerment. I am delighted to be part of the journey of self-improvement, growth, and fulfillment in various aspects of daily living. Personal development is my passion and I’m fortunate to work with like-minded individuals from around the world. Everyone brings a unique background and perspective, essential for enhancing one's skills, mindset, behavior, and work to build an extraordinary life full of possibilities. I stumbled upon an amazing chance to work remotely, set my schedule to align with other projects and meet financial needs. Of course it wasn't always this straightforward. Early on, I knew I was destined to be a doctor. I started the path at a young age, successfully obtained my MD, and practiced medicine in multiple specialties. I love medicine, but enduring 100-hour weeks and being on call in the middle of the night left little time for self-care. Imagining that schedule for the next 20+ years was daunting. Within healthcare, I discovered humanitarian work. Traveling to remote destinations and treating those with nothing was fulfilling but didn't pay the bills. My calling was elsewhere. During the pandemic, I landed in one of the African countries where the borders were still open and found a place where the locals were welcoming, and helped me call it home. I’ve now taken the leap to work for myself. Today the world is my office—all I need is my laptop and phone. I determine my schedule, income, and success! Personal development, something I’d always pursued for myself, is a thriving field. No more bumper-to-bumper traffic, constant emergency calls, sleepless nights, or days spent catching up on work and worrying about will go wrong tomorrow! I enjoy connecting with other sharing a similar philosophy working to fulfill their dreams!
