About Mindful Pet Services
Hello! My name is Doralee Halperin and I am the proprietor of Mindful Pet Services. A D.C. resident since 1987, I have worked as a veterinary technician since 1999 at both day and emergency veterinary practices. Most recently I worked as a veterinary technician at City Paws Animal Hospital (www.citypawsdc.com) from its opening in April 2006 to September 2011. I started Mindful Pet Services in order to make a living doing what I love most – providing loving, compassionate and skilled care to animal companions. This is the work that gives meaning to my day. When you travel for business or pleasure or when you work long hours, you want to know that your animal companion is being cared for with kindness, respect, compassion and a keen attention to detail. As someone who loves animals and has been trained in a veterinary setting to care for them, I can provide the care you expect and your pet deserves. Mindful Pet Services is insured, bonded and a member of Pet Sitters International.
