About Mindgen

Mindgen is a trailblazer bringing awareness and resources to combat affects of stress, vicarious trauma, and burnout in criminal justice professionals. Noting unique industry pressures to include repeated exposure to horrific events Mindgen founded the Mindful Forensic Initiative advocating for funding, education, training, and resources for this group of professionals who didn’t seem to have a voice in this area yet. Mindgen pulls evidence-based techniques from mindfulness, meditation, yoga and mental health to strengthen resiliency improving both the quality of work and quality of life. Mindgen has adapted these tools to help individuals and agencies dedicated to criminal justice build a culture that values resiliency and continues to support its personnel. Mindgen teaches the application of techniques and how to build a habit of resiliency through workshops, online programs, coaching, and accountability.
