About Mineração Taboca
Mineração Taboca acts in the research, mining and commercialization of tin, niobium and tantalum and its purpose is: “We improve life by transforming minerals into wellness”. Therefore, we operate following world class standards and really committing to environment protection and the development of the people in our communities. Founded in 1969, we are one of the few world market companies to have our own mine - Pitinga, located at the Amazon region, at Presidente Figueiredo municipality. Besides the Amazon unit, Mineração Taboca also has a metal processing unit at Pirapora do Bom Jesus, São Paulo, where refined tin is produced at high grade with 99% of purity. We are part of the Mining Division for the Peruvian Company Group called Breca which has more than 130 years of history empowering progress, protecting the environment and building the future.
