Mingo Valley Christian is a PreK through 12th non-denominational Christian School established in 1976. MVC offers a wide range of learning opportunities and activities from arts and athletics to academic and service clubs. The major purpose of Mingo Valley Christian School is twofold: 1) To train students in the knowledge of God and the Christian way of life, as they receive an excellent academic education; and 2) To assist parents in the Christian discipleship of their children. The education of MVCS is based upon the Bible, centered in Christ, and administered in love. The foundational values of the school are character training, scripture memorization, meaningful chapels, daily Bible classes, a Christian atmosphere, and Godly teachers that love children. It is our objective to meet the academic, physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of each student through a unique combination of love and discipline. We are committed to a total Christian program in all functions and operations of curriculum, activities and faculty. Every student will have the opportunity to benefit daily from Christian teachers through Bible devotions and stories and Scripture memorization. We truly believe that “in Christ are hidden all treasures of wisdom and knowledge” Colossians 2:3. We partner with parents as they seek to bring up their children in the training and instruction of the Lord. Academic excellence, spiritual development, and community service are key distinctions of Mingo Valley Christian School. Students receive a quality education, which prepares them for productive, faithful lives.
